Cheng-Yung Kuo was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. He moved to the United States to study art in 2001. He received his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2009. His first solo show was at the Photo-Four Gallery in 2007. He recently had two solo exhibitions at National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall-Tswei-heng Gallery and Pacific Cultural Foundation Art Center in Taipei, Taiwan.
